Solid platform, good features

I signed up for an annual plan after using the trial for their Ecommerce Website. The setup was intuitive; I linked my domain and customized a theme without much trouble. I used the Inventory Management System and it's been pretty accurate. Order tracking tools were also helpful for keeping customers updated. I did have a small question about the SEO Optimization Suite, and customer support replied within a day with a clear answer. Delivery for my first few sales was smooth, and the payment processing via their gateway was quick. Overall, it's a reliable platform for managing an online business.

Reliable for my small business

I've been using Onkiza for about a year now for my small business, this last purchase was an upgrade to a higher plan for more features. I started with their basic Online Store Builder and it was consistent from day one. I've used their Customer Management CRM quite a bit, which helps keep track of everything. The dependability is what keeps me coming back; my site is always up and running, and their tools like Product Catalog Management are easy to update. It's been a steady platform compared to when I first signed up.

Easy setup, quick launch

Needed an ecommerce site fast. Onkiza's Website Builder was simple to use. Got my store live in a few days. Payment gateway integration worked well. No issues so far.

Good for starting out

I set up my first ever online store on Onkiza a few weeks ago, just a small thing for my crafts. It was pretty straightforward, even for me who isn't super techy. I used their Online Store Builder. The whole process felt easy, and I got my site looking decent without too much fuss. It shipped my first order fine too, so that's a win.

Thinking of upgrading to an annual plan. Do they usually have discounts for that, or should I wait for a Black Friday type sale?

E Emma 1 month ago
They almost always give you a discount for annual billing, usually 10-20% off the monthly rate. It's their standard thing.

Yeah, I got a decent discount when I went annual. You might see even bigger sales around Black Friday, but the annual discount is generally always there.

I have a promo link from a podcast, where do I actually use it? Don't see a spot for codes on the sign-up page.

R Raj Kim 1 month ago
If it's a promo link, it usually applies automatically when you click through and sign up for the trial or choose an annual plan.

You typically don't enter a code for those. The link itself activates the deal. If it's for an annual upgrade, you'll see the discount reflected during checkout.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows if Onkiza offers a free trial? Don't want to commit without trying it out first.

N Noor Nguyen 1 month ago
Yeah, they do! I signed up for one a few months back. Just look for it on their site.

They totally have a free trial. I think it's for a couple of weeks, gives you enough time to poke around and see if it's a good fit.

Are there any transaction fees if I'm selling stuff through Onkiza, or is it just the monthly subscription?

C Carly A. 1 month ago
From my experience, Onkiza itself doesn't charge transaction fees, but your payment processor (like Stripe or PayPal) will.

F Faith 1 month ago
Nope, Onkiza doesn't take a cut. Any fees come from whatever payment gateway you integrate, which is pretty standard everywhere.

Does anyone know if there's a difference between setting up a shop here versus Shopify? Trying to figure out which one to go with.

M Megan Silva 1 month ago
Onkiza is pretty good for beginners and has a lot built-in. Shopify is huge with tons of apps, but can get pricier. Depends on your scale.

I moved from Shopify to Onkiza because the pricing felt more straightforward here. Shopify had a lot of hidden costs with apps, for me anyway.

Has anyone tried their mobile app feature? Is it actually useful for managing orders on the go?

R Rachel 3 weeks ago
The mobile app is decent. I use it mostly for quick checks on sales and order statuses when I'm not at my computer.

It's not super feature-rich, but for basic inventory checks and seeing new orders, it does the job. Pretty convenient for light management.

Can I use my own domain name if I sign up with Onkiza, or do I have to use one of theirs?

R Raj 1 month ago
Yep, you can definitely use your own domain. I connected mine without any problems, it was pretty straightforward.

T Troy 1 month ago
Absolutely. It's one of the basic features. You just point your existing domain to them in the settings.

Is Onkiza reliable for payments? Like, are my customers' credit card details safe?

M Mike Lindqvist 1 month ago
They use secure payment processing, standard for pretty much all e-commerce platforms. My customers haven't had issues.

M Mia 1 month ago
Yeah, totally secure. They have SSL certificates and all the usual stuff. Wouldn't worry about that part.
